Thunderstruck Lyrics by AC/DC

Thunderstruck Lyrics
Thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder
I was caught
In the middle of a railroad track
I looked round
And I knew there was no turning back
My mind raced
And I thought what could I do
And I knew
There was no help, no help from you
Sound of the drums
Beating in my heart
The thunder of guns
Tore me apart
You've been

Rode down the highway
Broke the limit, we hit the town
Went through to Texas, yeah Texas, and we had some fun
We met some girls
Some dancers who gave a good time
Broke all the rules
Played all the fools
Yeah yeah they, they, they blew our minds
And I was shaking at the knees
Could I come again please
Yeah them ladies were too kind
You've been

I was shaking at the knees
Could I come again please

Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck
It's alright, we're doin' fine
It's alright, we're doin' fine, fine, fine
Thunderstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah
Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck
Thunderstruck, baby, baby
Thunderstruck, you've been Thunderstruck
Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck
You've been Thunderstruck

Thunderstruck Info:

• The song peaked at number #5 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks.

• 'Thunderstruck' is the first song on the 1990 AC/DC album The Razors Edge.

• Angus Young came up with the riff for the song after flying in a plane that was struck by lightening and nearly crashed.

• Contrary to popular belief, Young does not play Thunderstruck's main riff with one hand. Instead, he picks every note; one can hear the scraping sound that the plastic of his plectrum makes as it hits each note. The one-handed tapping technique can only be seen in the 'Thunderstruck' music video.

• The Australian movie called Thunderstruck (2004) is a comedy about 5 guys who go to an AC/DC show in 1991 and agree to bury the first one who dies next to Bon Scott.
