I miss my friends and they are not coming back
They're either all on drugs or they're working for the bank
And I don't know what's worse, I just know that it hurts
I lie in bed in tears while my friends are at work

And my car won't start, my garden won't grow
And I think I'm due at Centrelink and I don't wanna go

And I feel so out of place among all of the humans
I don't wanna duplicate each day
I've got books to read and a world to save

I miss my friends, it's sad but true
