Bruno Mars - Young Girls Lyrics

Bruno Mars Lyrics

Young Girls Lyrics
Jump to:
I spent all my money on a big old fancy car
For these bright eyed honeys
Oh yeah you know who you are
Keep me up till the sun is high
Till the birds stop calling my name
I'm addicted and I don' know why
Guess I've always been this way

[PRE-CHORUS]
All these roads steer me wrong
But I still drive them all night long, all night long

[CHORUS]
All you young wild girls
You make a mess of me
Yeah you young wild girls
You'll be the death of me, the death of me
All you young wild girls
No matter what you do
Yeah you young wild girls
I'll always come back to you, come back to you

I get lost under these lights
I get lost in the words I say
Stop believing my own lies
Like everything will be okay
Oh I still dream of simple life
Boy meets girl makes her his wife
But love don't exist when you live like this that much I know, yes I know

[PRE-CHORUS]
All these roads steer me wrong
But I still drive them all night long, all night long

[CHORUS]
All you young wild girls
You make a mess of me
Yeah you young wild girls
You'll be the death of me, the death of me
All you young wild girls
No matter what you do
Yeah you young wild girls
I'll always come back to you, come back to you

You, you, you, you
Yeah you you you
You you you you

All you young wild girls
You make a mess of me
Yeah you young wild girls
You'll be the death of me, the death of me
All you young wild girls
No matter what you do
Yeah you young wild girls
I'll always come back to you, come back to you

Young Girls Info:

Young Girls is from Bruno Mars second studio album Unorthodox Jukebox.

Lyrically, it's about how he can't help but succumb to the dubious charms of young girls, even though he recognizes what he is doing is wrong.

Mars explained to MTV News' Sway Calloway why he decided to open Unorthodox Jukebox with this track. "That's the first song on the album [because] I think it really shows you what this album is going to be, and just where I was when I started this album," he said. "Everything's been so new to me, man, I feel like the world's been watching it. Watching me go on tour, watching me perform on TV ... but I [also] feel this is something everyone can relate to: There's a moment in your life where you start going out every night, and it's so fun, but then you start to lose yourself; you get lost in the sauce.

"So, this song is the same sentiment as 'Lookin' For Love In All The Wrong Places,'" he continued. "It's another confession."
