Taylor Swift Announces New Album The Life of a Showgirl

Taylor Swift has announced her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. Pre-orders for vinyl, CD, and cassettes versions of the album are now available via Swift's website. Physical copies will ship before October 13th.
Swift will promote The Life of a Showgirl by appearing on New Heights, the podcast hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, on Wednesday, August 13th, at 7:00 p.m. ET. A teaser clip released ahead of the episode shows Swift taking the album out of a briefcase and unveiling its cover (currently blurred).
The Life of a Showgirl marks Swift's follow-up to The Tortured Poets Department, which was released in April 2024. It's also her first album since wrapping up her record-breaking "The Eras Tour," and her first release since regaining full control of the master recordings for her first six studio albums.
