An actor who first made waves in the Fifty Shades of Grey series and later came to fame as a regular on the neo-Western Yellowstone, Luke Grimes launched a musical career by styling himself as an earthy troubadour in the vein of Zach Bryan and Turnpike Troubadours. "No Horse to Ride," his first single, arrived in early 2022 and appeared on his debut EP, Pain Pills or Pews, the following year.
Grimes became part of the main cast of Taylor Sheridan's modern-day Western Yellowstone in 2018, staying with the show as it steadily increased in popularity in the early 2020s. Yellowstone helped him open up a secondary career as a country singer.
Grimes kicked off 2023 with two more singles, "Burn" and "Hold On," both appearing on the EP Pain Pills or Pews later that September.
His newest release is "Luke Grimes" released March 8, 2024.
