Aretha Franklin
passed away at the age of 76. The cause was reported to be pancreatic cancer.

Jahseh D. Onfroy, better known as XXXTentacion, passed away at the age of 20. He was leaving a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida when he was shot by two assailants in a SUV in an apparent robbery.

Tim Bergling, better known as Avicii passed away at the age of 28. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

Pat DiNizio, frontman, songwriter and guitarist for The Smithereens passed away at the age of 62. According to bandmates, his health declined following a series of health issues that began in 2015 after a pair of falls that resulted in nerve damage which limited the use of his right hand and arm

It was confirmed that Lil Peep (born Gustav Åhr) cause of death was an accidental overdose due to the effects of the pain medications fentanyl and alprazolam. He was found on his tour bus when his manager went to check on him in preparation for that night's performance in Tucson, Arizona.
