[ Featuring Michael Owen, Noel Downs ]
I saw a pretty girl,
+
And asked her to dance
+
As she turned away from me,
+
Said you don't have a chance,
+
Please don't bother me,
+
You're not in my class,
+
Everybody calls you Donkey,
+
Cause you look like an ass!
+
Why settle for just one girl
+
When I can be a pop star
+
So I went and saw my Father,
+
And asked him what to do,
+
He said no good asking me,
+
I haven't got a clue,
+
Go and see your Mother,
+
For where you're going wrong,
+
Mamma said with my looks,
+
I should write her a song.
+
Why settle for just one girl
+
When I can be a pop star
+
Why settle for just one girl
+
When I can be a pop star
+
So I wrote some pretty words,
+
To help with my romance,
+
And I wrote a lively tune,
+
That made me wanna dance
+
And I walked away from Sya
+
With my song and my guitar
+
Why settle for just one girl
+
When I can be a pop star
+
Why settle for just one girl
+
When I can be a pop star
+
Why settle for just one girl
+
When I can be a pop star
+
When I can be a pop star
+
When I can be a pop star
+
I can be a pop star
+
Gonna be a pop star
+
Gonna be a pop star
+
