Motivation
+
The strongest force in the world
+
Without it even dishes are a mountain
+
With it you endure the fire
+
Nothing in life comes easy that's the truth
+
A simple wash a plate to clean a mountain if you're loose
+
But find that fire inside that spark that won't go out
+
And suddenly the weight feels light the doubt begins to rout
+
You commit to something bigger a cause that calls your name
+
But days turn into winters and certainty starts to wane
+
You stick around when missiles rain when the world explodes in three
+
You fight in offensives that history will see
+
You lose the names you've learned to love Vogler Taz and more
+
Their faces gone but their memories carved forever in your core
+
You ask yourself why you're still here
+
When the thin gets thinner and the bitter draws near
+
Motivation the mountain you climb!
+
The force that keeps you in the line!
+
When the world says quit when the easy calls
+
Motivation holds when everything else falls!
+
Motivation thick and thin!
+
The promises we made the vows within!
+
Right now it's bitter real real thin
+
But motivation drags you in!
+
Hundreds of missions drones in the sky
+
EOD walks where the shadows lie
+
Speedboats under fire pinned down for days
+
Ribs cracked ears burst in a hundred different ways
+
Nearly died a hundred times fifty close enough to taste
+
TBI from blasts that left you in a haze
+
Seen the innocents cut down; the horror no one should see
+
Killed a few helped end hundreds the weight that lives in me
+
Raised aid that saved more lives than any round I fired
+
Negotiated millions when the front was mired
+
You tell yourself it's worth the cost
+
The Friends you lose the self you've lost
+
Motivation the mountain you climb!
+
The force that keeps you in the line!
+
When the world says quit when the easy calls
+
Motivation holds when everything else falls!
+
Motivation thick and thin!
+
The promises we made; the vows within!
+
Right now it's bitter real real thin
+
But motivation drags you in!
+
When motivation drags you in!
+
Choose the boredom
+
Choose the wait
+
Choose the shelling
+
Fifty to one hate
+
Choose the grunt life
+
Choose the hole
+
Choose the truth
+
No hero role
+
Choose the loss
+
Choose the pain
+
Choose the promise
+
Again and again
+
MOTIVATION THE ONLY FORCE!
+
MOTIVATION NO REMORSE!
+
MOTIVATION THICK AND THIN!
+
MOTIVATION Till the BITTER END!
+
MOTIVATION The tightnin' phase
+
Yellow retina return go on hollow charades
+
No parades no glories no easy win
+
No untapped dreams when the fire's been
+
No one's waiting with open arms
+
No hero's welcome no lucky charms
+
Just the vows you made the lines you hold
+
Thick and thin in the bitter cold
+
Some days you're tired some days depressed
+
But the promise pulls you from the rest
+
Adventures aren't easy; courage needs fear
+
Determination thrives when adversity's near
+
Don't come for the swagger don't come for the thrill
+
Don't come to tick boxes or chase an easy kill
+
You'll be the new guy the FNG
+
Just another warm body in the trench with me
+
No one cares about your training your tours your past
+
Artillery doesn't ask it just blasts
+
Fake or real; panic or run
+
You'll find the brochure lied about the fun
+
No medals matter; No thanks feel true
+
Just empty words when they're aimed at you
+
The vibe is gone the dream is dead
+
Just the grind and your promise in your head
+
Motivation the mountain you climb!
+
The force that keeps you in the line!
+
When the world says quit when the easy calls

Motivation holds when everything else falls!
+
Motivation thick and thin!
+
The promises made the vows within!
+
Right now it's bitter real real thin
+
But motivation pulls you in!
+
BUT MOTIVATION SHARES YOU IN
+
Thick and thin
+
Till the bitter end
+
Motivation
+
Your only Friend
