The sound, as if coming from the earth itself.
It pierced my mind, awakening,
Something primal, indescribable.

I stared into the mirror, the image seemed to shift
With every glance, this wasn't right,
Nothing was, I knew there was, anything,
Something more, I had to find it.

I stare into the sun,
The only thing that makes sense anymore.

You wouldn't know the pain I faced when I had to go and leave it all behind,
You wouldn't know the agony when I walked away. It's hard to say.

The art of cruelty is a construct of rational beings.
To partake in life it's a cold cruel joke,
I will drink of this calamity.

As a chrysalis, evolving insects,
