Synapse540 - 540 II Lyrics

Synapse540 - 540 II Lyrics

It's Normal morning, i wake up blessed
Give thanks to God for a life with not much stress
Stand up, get undressed, shower, you know the rest
No Makeup or doing my hair, I don't look my best
All i gotta do is get them up
Got to get them on the bus, so he don't end up like us
Favorite breakfast food, captain crunch
Wake Brandon up, pour him a bunch
This was the last bowl, so i told him to go get some more after school
Its 7:30, you don't want to be late

At the bus stop, its just us kids
There's this beautiful black girl, her name is Liz
She's new to the neighborhood, her dad is a pig
I've been sitting beside her because she has no friends
Today she told me why she's here, she said it in my ear so one would hear
Someone died because they took a fake pill
People were talking about it, but i didn't think it was real
Her dad was put on the case because he's the best
Lived in New York city, she said it wasn't the best

One's unlike the rest, everybody's wearing a vest
I feel not welcomed, like I need to pass a test
Like i wasn't brought down here to do the work they didn't see any of you to fit best
It's not my first day, but everyday i get stares like it is
Report to the chief and don't even sit down in the chair in there
I keep reminding myself its for your family
Augusta county is beautiful but has so many dark places
Successful people but all we see is weary faces
Trynna not to pay attention to much, sitting doing radar
Its all part of the job, today and tomorrow
This job could easily put you in a graveyard
But i have to do this for my family, something greater's involved

Finally, I'm home off the bus
Here i come captain crunch
Get my bike, in a rush
Grabbed the 20 off the table
Hit the road, thats when life began to become a fable
Looked behind me
