Temper City Lyrics

Temper City is a rising indie-alternative trio that has recently seen massive viral success, particularly with their debut single, "Self Aware."

While their sound has led to some online speculation about whether the band is AI-generated, they are very much a real group of experienced Israeli musicians and producers.

The band is composed of three established songwriters and producers who previously worked behind the scenes for major Israeli artists like Noa Kirel and Netta Barzilai. They formed Temper City with the goal of creating an English-language project inspired by bands like The Neighbourhood, Arctic Monkeys, and Twenty One Pilots.

Eytan Peled: Lead Vocals. An American-born Israeli singer-songwriter known for writing in English, Hebrew, and Arabic.

Chen (Hen) Kordova: Keyboards, Synthesizer, and Production.

Aviv Barenholtz: Drums, Programming, and Production.

Kordova and Barenholtz have been a production duo since their teens under the name Sync Beats.Released in February 2026, "Self Aware" became an instant viral hit, topping the TikTok and Spotify "Viral 50" charts globally within weeks.
