After spending time in and out of jail for aggravated robbery and other charges, BigXthaPlug started writing raps in solitary confinement to maintain his sanity.
When he was released in 2020, he dropped "Bacc From The Dead" and decided to take rap seriously, after sporadically releasing songs in 2019.
Though originally hoping to become a professional football player (having played on both the offensive and defensive line in college), hip-hop eventually became his path to success.
