Summer's breeze, it whispers softly,
Underneath the golden sun
But in the midst of this serenity,
My heart's tangled, it's begun
Caught in a whirlwind of emotions,
I see him with her, hand in hand
But I can't help this infatuation,
Though I know it's not what's planned
So I'll post pictures, I'll share my tales,
Hoping he'll notice, that love prevails
But little did I know, what lies beneath his charm,
Soon to realize, he's causing harm
Through filters and captions, I try to allure,
Thinking maybe he'll notice, maybe he'll adore
But each double tap, each fleeting glance,
Only deepens this hopeless trance
His smiles are like the sunsets, fleeting yet bright,
But his intentions, they're hidden, out of sight
For every heart emoji, there's a lie he's told,
In this summer's drama, I've been played, I've been sold
So I'll post pictures, I'll share my tales,
Hoping he'll notice, that love prevails
But little did I know, what lies beneath his charm,
Soon to realize, he's causing harm
Summer's breeze, it carries me,
Away from the lies, towards clarity
