Blue
Buried
Leagues
Below the sea
Light
It reaches
But barely making contact with my eyes
Tell me, am I free?
Hurt and heavy
My feet
Will carry me
Lost
But not broken
The pieces start to move in this machine
At least now I can breathe
The sun will rise
The sun will rise
And I'll wake up, redeemed and ready
To take on this realm and everything beyond the border
I'm only so much smaller
I walk
But I grow weary
Take rest
Beneath the leaves
And why I never answered
I don't owe you an explanation
I surrender under the light of the full moon
When you play with death, it comes to play with you
But I will rise
And I'll wake up, redeemed and ready
To take on this realm and everything beyond the border
I'm only so much smaller
Peering into the shell of a body left behind
Forever grateful for everything I've kept inside
But what would I learn from looting?
And if we all must make the journey of the dead
We might as well live to feel the blood rush to our heads
Because what would we learn from dying?
Something inside of me speaks (awaken)
In a scene straight out of a dream (I've seen all this before)
Now awaken and dance in the sunlight
And we are all saved from the terrors of night (we're free from ourselves)
