Brett Young - In Case You Didn't Know Lyrics

Brett Young Lyrics

In Case You Didn't Know Lyrics
I can't count the times
I almost said what's on my mind
But I didn't

Just the other day
I wrote down all the things I'd say
But I couldn't
I just couldn't

Baby I know that you've been wondering
Mmm, so here goes nothing

In case you didn't know
Baby I'm crazy bout you
And I would be lying if I said
That I could live this life without you
Even though I don't tell you all the time
You had my heart a long long time ago
In case you didn't know

The way you look tonight
That second glass of wine
That did it

There was something bout that kiss
Girl it did me in
Got me thinking
I'm thinking

One of the things that I've been feeling
Mmm, it's time you hear em

In case you didn't know
Baby I'm crazy bout you
And I would be lying if I said
That I could live this life without you
Even though I don't tell you all the time
You had my heart a long long time ago
In case you didn't know

You've got all of me
I belong to you
Yeah you're my everything

In case you didn't know
I'm crazy bout you
I would be lying if I said
That I could live this life without you
Even though I don't tell you all the time
You had my heart a long long time ago
Yeah, you had my heart a long long time ago
In case you didn't know
In case you didn't know

In Case You Didn't Know Info:

• Brett Young co-wrote the song with Nashville songwriters Trent Tomlinson, Tyler Reeve, and Kylie Schlienger during a writer's retreat in Mexico. Brett said:
"Trent started telling us a story about something his mom always did growing up. He said every time he'd leave the house, she'd stop him on his way out the door and say, 'Hey Trent, in case you didn't know, I love you.' And me and Tyler both looked at each other and we were like, 'Well, we gotta write that song.'"

The video was filmed at the historic Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga, Tennessee. About the video, Brett said:
"We don't want to tell so much of a story that anybody that wants to make it their story feels alienated. And so, same thing with the video. We picked a beautiful theater in Chattanooga, and it's me and my guitar."

"There is a girl for a moment in it, but it's more about the idea of the girl, so that people can continue to make that their story, and hopefully put it in a bunch of weddings in 2017."
