Baron Kelly - Intermission Lyrics

Now everybody still under twenty-one,
Never gun the clique or clip the gun
Never take a shot of pure epinepherine
Till' systems glisten make your adrenaline
A week ago today labor day began fall,
Birds chirped, bees breezed, crows went caw,
A motherf*cker decided that he had it all,
So he spun around and hit my sister right in the jaw
He insisted that he was just f*cking around
But a millisecond later she was out on the ground
I thought a dead corpse was what wed surround,
Then he barracaded the entrance said we couldnt get out
My other sister's yelling "hell no" and rammed into him
I started kicking and screamed and yelled like an elephant
I grabbed unconscious by the waist just for the hell of it
Pushed out now surrounded by several telegrams
8 year olds with mothers and fathers
Kid behind mes nose bleedin, and his face gettin hotter
It had started to look like a 9v1,
Girls behind fathers and those behind sons
We rushed like 2 running backs straight to my house
Avoiding bloodshed cuz we coulda been doused
And then i opened the door right as my father came out
And intermission began before i walked in the house

Livin life a little bit ahead of the curve
Since an adolescent life's a little absurd
Everybody's crazy and wants to be heard
Nothing's been the same and thsts just how it works
Generations full of single-handed bandits
Sorry if I'll pull or rippin off the bandage
People around you only care about fame
Livin life's been a game, thats intermission's name

It wasn't till then that I was truly awake
Sometimes the ugliest people have the prettiest face
And i know its impossible, i know its a shame
For what you to call business to relate to the snakes
Three my sister on the floor, hoped to hear a heartbeat
Kids a block away hoped I'd suffer defeat
As I neared my ear to hear a lick of her breath
A safetys pulled a guns cocked and its next to my head
Wrist around my neck so i cant even breathe
The guy splits my feet and throws me to the weeds
Dads still yelling and he almost seals the deed
When my sister rams right into him so he cant even wheeze
Neighbors still rush as if bay of pigs
Instead the sink, bolting at a literal kid
My sus gets the gun with one single kick
And the neighbors stop like deer at the sound of a twig
And as i percieved armistice was at a close,
The neighbor takes his fist and hits her toes
3 gunshot wounds a shoulder an arm and a leg
But this 8 year old knows that we now have the edge
I busy into a car, hotwire it but fsul
Now the neighbors presume theyre about to prevail
When the sucker puncher takes a step into my house
I drive away and watch my sister get the shit beaten out

Livin life a little bit ahead of the curve
Since an adolescent life's a little absurd
Everybody's crazy and wants to be heard
Nothing's been the same and thsts just how it works
Generations full of single-handed bandits
Sorry if I'll pull or rippin off the bandage
People around you only care about fame (shh, listen, listen!)
Livin life's been a game, thats intermission's name (I got something important to tell you, yo yo)

Thank you all for listening to my music.
Even if my songs have only been joke songs so far,
With one being about cockroaches
And one being about my neighbors,
It means a lot that yall pay attention to my shit.
Im working on an ep,
And i hope to maybe make
Some of the songs a little more coherent.
Thank you to Lokesh and my sisters, and my friend Evan.
Yall the goats.
