Bishop the Baker - Dialogue Lyrics

Bishop the Baker - Dialogue Lyrics

The basics, let's face it, they're draining
And everybody's waiting for water
Sustaining on Amazon products
But waiting gets harder the longer
You're fielding complaints from your daughter
Like daddy why the air feel hotter every day
Why the green fields all fade to gray
Because we know but we knew too late
That you gotta pay back what you take
From the universe plate or it's judgement day
And here it comes, here it comes our way,
Ain't nothin to say, no reason to pray
Ain't nothin gonna change the weight of the ages
The pressings and pages and payments
Industrial labor and poisonous vapor
Then sweeping our problems right under the table
And fables of data that claimed we were stable
Elected officials who willing and able
Deflected concerns with eloquent words and ignorant terms
And all of us heard, we played with our phones
And heated our homes and glutted on coal
And built our drones, dug up bones and burned our oil
Til the water turned up to a boil
And the air don't feel so cold noo more in the North
This a horrible sport to be short a retort
And another voice comes through the woodwork

You can take all you want
When all you need is gone
I can't wait to move on
When your disease is gone
