Buck Wrangler - On the Road Again... Tomorrow Lyrics

Buck Wrangler - On the Road Again... Tomorrow Lyrics

Woke up at sunrise, packed my old Chevy,
Gonna hit the highway, Montana bound and steady.
Got my boots on, hat in place, feeling like a king,
But my sweet little darlin', she ain't quite ready yet, I sing...

On the road again, tomorrow, I suppose,
Waiting on my woman while she's painting up her toes.
We'll be driving down that highway, someday, who knows?
On the road again, tomorrow... or maybe next weekend, who knows?

I double-checked the map, filled up the tank,
Got enough beef jerky to fill a riverbank.
But she's curling her hair, and trying on ten dresses,
I'm thinking Montana might have to wait, it's anybody's guesses.

On the road again, tomorrow, that's the plan,
She's still deciding on which shoes match with her tan.
I've cleaned the truck three times, I'm a patient man,
But on the road again, tomorrow... if she lets go of that spray tan can.

She says, "Just one more minute, gotta find my favorite ring,"
I've been sitting in this truck so long, I'm starting to grow wings.
The cows are grazing, the horses taking naps,
But I'm stuck in this driveway, doing cowboy laps.

On the road again, tomorrow, fingers crossed,
Hoping that her hairdryer doesn't get lost.
She says, "It's worth the wait, so I don't look like a ghost,"
But on the road again, tomorrow... might as well make myself a toast.

So here I am, folks, still dreaming of the plains,
Montana sunsets and Texas summer rains.
But until she's ready, I guess I'll just sing my song,
On the road again, tomorrow... or whenever she comes along.
On the road again, tomorrow... but this coffee's getting strong.
On the road again... eventually... maybe... one day!
