Cmedine - Every Mistake Is a Lesson Lyrics

Cmedine - Every Mistake Is a Lesson Lyrics

Looks like I committed a mistake
The one that can make or break
Its crazy that all that it actually takes is one error
And everything and anything you know is at stake
It doesn't even matter if you chose to partake
Pressure wraps around and squeezes like a snake
Not giving you a moment to shed your skin and escape
How much more of this can I actually take?

Every mistake is a lesson, every mistake is a lesson
So why do I ask myself, the same damn questions?
Every mistake is a lesson, every mistake is a lesson
How long will I succumb, to this depression?
Every mistake is, yea
Every mistake is, yea
A lesson, depression
A lesson learned through depression, lesson
Every mistake is a lesson, every mistake is a lesson
How long will I succumb, to this depression?

Every mistake is a lesson
So why do I ask myself the same questions?
Why do the negatives always outweigh the positives?
Why is everyone held to such prerogatives?

No matter how much good you do in this life
You're bound to commit a mistake that puts it all into strife
Humans are bound to the seeds of imperfection
Rooted in place by Impossible perfection

Seems like the brand of failure marked me again
Leaving me no room to pretend
So what then?
When should I pick up this pen, like those wise men
Who time and time again
Figured out this life's mission
Is to find our own personal zen
Search in the present and don't wait till the end

Even if our greatest errors are inked in black
Its our duty to learn and put things back on track
Always keep your head up and look foward
Even if it means taking a step back
Focus on how much we have
And not what we lack
You will fail over and over
This is all something I know and keep telling myself
So try not to sink lower and lower
And constantly remind yourself
That we are all inevitably flawed
A perfect reflection of a permanent fraud
Caused, by our imperfect actions
The world is held accountable for its own retractions
Everything up to this point can never be taken back
So remember this when I tell you that

Every mistake is a lesson, every mistake is a lesson
So why do I ask myself, the same damn questions?
Every mistake is a lesson, every mistake is a lesson
How long will I succumb, to this depression?
Every mistake is, yea
Every mistake is, yea
A lesson, depression
A lesson learned through depression, lesson
Every mistake is a lesson, every mistake is a lesson
How long will I succumb, to this depression ?
