• In the United States, "Don't Start Now" became Lipa's third top 40 on the US Billboard Hot 100, where it entered the chart at number 30. After fluctuating for several weeks, the track rebounded to a new peak of number 21. It also became her fifth top ten on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, after it rose from number 18 to number five in its 30 November 2019 issue. It would eventually reach number one in its 28 December 2019 issue, resulting in her third number one single on this chart. It also became her eighth number one on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs Chart in its 4 January 2020 issue. The song also entered and peaked at number 15 on the US Rolling Stone Top 100 chart. In Canada, "Don't Start Now" entered and peaked at number 16 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart.
