Daron Reveur - On the Other Side Lyrics

Yo, back at it, this sad rap is a bad habit
Just a tad low on my serotonin and that's tragic
My headed is clouded, I'm hearing noise and it's mad static
And I'm losing track of my path ahead so im walking backwards

Like broken records I'm record scratched and I'm battle damaged
Living out my life like a clip or snap out a broken camera
And I might fizzle, explode the cap like a shaken fanta
Often I find myself dallying in this witty banter

I can't withstand all the pressure that comes with growing older
It'll all work out and I'll get it later is all I'm told so
Bent outta shape I'm acute and I'm just about to fold and
I'm just stressing for everything that I can't control

Maybe I'm too immature to understand it
Maybe God is working wonders and it's all his plan and
Maybe I'm just toxic wasting like a dying planet
And maybe everything is pointless, life is falsely branded

Lately wonder why I never seem to fall asleep at night
Can't but wanna run away and hide but is it better on the other side

Cause I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die
But I wonder why I'm still here
Living such a life, living such a life
And I know it's tough but these are
Very troubled times, very troubled times

And I'm still standing here cause I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die
I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die

Still dreaming if you can call this a dream
All my thoughts are colored patches they're tearing off at the seams
Lately nothing that I've been doing is stable by any means
Every work I speak is subject to change
It's changing me

And by it I mean the world and its way of breaking the chest in you
Chip away your heart until all that's left is the chest in you
Look into the mirror and suddenly seeing less of you
Maybe there's a problem or a twisted way of testing you

A blessing is what's waiting I'm waiting for it to show
In the river of my life and I'm riding along the flow
Lately it's been way too quick and I'm waiting for it to slow
But the waves are crashing harder and harder right at my boat

Now I'm overboard, drowning in decisions for life
Graduating, who I'm dating, where I'm sleeping tonight
Where I'm working, what I'm eating
Lots of rinsing and repeating, ain't an answer in sight
Now

Lately wonder why I never seem to fall asleep at night
Can't but wanna run away and hide but is it better on the other side

Cause I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die
But I wonder why I'm still here
Living such a life, living such a life
And I know it's tough but these are
Very troubled times, very troubled times

And I'm still standing here cause I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die
I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die

Lately wonder why I never fall asleep at night
I wanna run away and hide, but is it on the other side?
