The polka dance was generally attributed to a young woman, cnna Slezakova from Bohemia. She is said to have called the dance Madera** because of its liveliness. This song is a tribute to Johann Strauss I & II, Lawrence Welk, and folks from any country who celebrate life with a lively dance, and a bubbly drink of beer or champagne.
