David Wildwood - A Brave Boy Lyrics
Official

In a small town where the sun barely sets,
There lived a brave boy folks will never forget.
With a smile that could light up the darkest of nights,
He fought battles unseen under sterile lights.
At age two, they said he'd barely begun,
His world turned upside down before it was fun.
His mama held him close with tears in her eyes,
Little keystone of hope, under big, open skies.
Oh, little warrior, you gave it your all,
Climbing mountains, standing tall.
Though you left us too soon, we'll always recall,
The heart of a five-year-old, bravest of all.
Through the treatments and meds, he never did complain,
His laughter was a shelter from the unending rain.
He wore his tiny boots like a soldier in line,
Captured our hearts, one day at a time.
Drawing pictures of worlds where he could just run,
His small hands sang dreams under the canvas sun.
Though his days were numbered, he lived each one grand,
A hero to many, with legacy unplanned.
Oh, little warrior, you gave it your all,
Climbing mountains, standing tall.
Though you left us too soon, we'll always recall,
The heart of a five-year-old, bravest of all.
