Missing her while she's out of town on business
It's my day off, chores in the house to finish
No one around so I'll just lie down a minute
Cozy at home, why am I the one feeling homesickness?

I'd give up all I had to share her bed
For her to rub my back and touch my head

Waiting is hard, occupy myself with music
As I lay down, these simple sounds therapeutic
Still I can't shake how lacking this house and this bed is

To confirm that she's home long after I've closed my eyes
