She knew I'd always be there for her, but she suffered in silence,

What could I've done different, how could I have known?

Cuz even back then, I'd play and pretend,

Claiming that I was in the zone


Friendships with cracks, and lust that turned spoiled.

Engulfed in dark flames, but who poured the oil,

I truly believe, that every damn thing, happens

For a reason

But I wanna know, it's burning my soul, what was

The damn reason.



I will be honest, I want fortune and I want the fame,

I want the power of a platform to create the change,

I need my fem brothers and queens to see that we stronger,

I need my family in luxury and good health longer,

Now's the time for melanin to reclaim its royal throne.

Reject the ignorance and hatred, out the window, thrown.

Building a team, because I know I can't do it alone.

But writing raps and poetry, that's me, making it known.



I want Nicki to hear this message and to know she did it,

Thanks to my brother, she changed my life after the first listen,

Always been a conscience gleams,
