Sometimes I feel so alone,
Even when I'm surrounded by people.
I long for that connection,
That feeling of belonging.

My mind is filled with thoughts,
That never seem to go away.
I'm stuck in this rut,
With no way out.

I try to smile,
But it feels fake.
I'm just going through the motions,
Waiting for something that may never come.

It's hard to find happiness,
When you're constantly battling with your mind.
I wish I could turn it off,
But it's always there, lingering.

I want to feel alive,
But I'm stuck in this numbness.
Waiting for a spark,
That may never come.

I hope one day,
I can find that light at the end of the tunnel.
Until then, I'll continue to struggle,
