Eposic - Face of Death Lyrics

Eposic - Face of Death Lyrics

The noose was tight, the crowd gathered round, We stood on the platform, our fates seemed bound
With hearts heavy, the end seemed nigh,
But a spark of defiance still flickered in our eyes

The guards lined up, the ropes prepared,
A hush fell over as the sentence was declared
But as I looked around, with a sinking heart, Three men were missing, it gave me a start

Suddenly from the harbor, a thunderous roar,
A cannonball flew, shaking the shore
The gallows splintered, chaos took hold,
As the missing three returned, brave and bold

They stole back our ship, with stealth and skill,
And fired their cannons with a pirate's thrill
The ropes they broke, as we sprang free,
United once more in wild liberty

Escaped from the gallows with cunning and might,
In the face of death, we took to flight
With hearts full of courage and a daring plan,
We turned the tide like only pirates can

Through the streets we dashed, like shadows in the night,
With the taste of freedom and the thrill of the fight
The town fell behind as we reached the shore, Where our ship awaited to sail once more

We sailed into the dawn with the wind in our sails,
Leaving behind the gallows and the town's bitter trails
The sea embraced us with open arms,
As we vowed to live by our pirate charms

Escaped from the gallows with cunning and might,
In the face of death, we took to flight
With hearts full of courage and a daring plan,
We turned the tide like only pirates can

Now we sail the seas with stories to tell,
Of the day we escaped from the jaws of hell
For in our hearts, the freedom we seek,
Will always guide us through the strong and the weak
The gallows behind us, the horizon ahead,
With my crew united, our spirits fed
We live by the code, wild and free,
Forever bound by the call of the sea
