There are pyramids on Mars
And a tall dark skinny people
Came to stand where I stood
They came to tell me
Not everything was good
Under the hood
I saw the village where the old men died
And the young men come forward
To sacrifice their lives towards making things right
Because all else failed
My God-given vision showed me life on Mars
And I realized their lives are the same as ours
They're specks of dust lost amidst the stars
And they drive around in funky lookin' cars
There are pyramids on Mars
And the tall dark skinny people
Hide away from the storm
The dust and dirt
Coalesce into mountains
High as the sky
I saw the basin and the waterways
But the water wasn't there
No moisture in the air
So they wait out their lives
They've got nothing else to do
