Fragile was the snow when winter fell
Summer like a distant dream again
We'd waded through the fall to find ourselves
This empty winter canvas ours to fill
I wandered through the trees all draped in white
Kneeling to the sky, it's gift of life
No sun, no moon, no stars, just blinding blue
The ocean of the sky is frozen too
He spoke to me, In silver tongues
These words
Covered in Blue
Spring grew down the hills with yellow skin
A bitterness had sewn it's sees within
In the melting snow his heart went black
Regret became of life no turning back
We sank below, I grasped
Those words
Covered in Blue
