fin peach - Kansas Hotel Room Lyrics

I don't have a single second for a person who won't give me a listen
No this ain't a spoken word this a message to each
And every person whose been saying I ain't nothing
Well at least I ain't nothing I been working every day to be something
I can't tell if soundcloud rapper's a damn compliment
Cause my family stay supportive but they still call me it
I hate hearing myself talk I can't stand my own voice
But when I made Twentytwenty swear I knew that I was lit
Everybody in my city know about me somehow
Swear the music's universal even if it's just the town
I wanna jump state lines and start over with some people
I cut off Bella, Charlie, grace I thought I was getting equal
I stopped caring, I should've done that long ago
But the difference between us is really starting to show
Coming up on 29 hours of no sleep, I'm dead
But in the end who's really winning when you're listening again
I'm not a rapper, not a singer
I'm a poet, I'm an artist
Anyone that told you different's uninformed
Don't get me started
Here's some poetry
Followed by some rock and some alternative
Every genre that you think I can make
Please don't son the kid
But I been struggling
Go to sleep at 4am
I can't take the thoughts that I'm stomaching
And This girl I really want
Send me some signals looking mixed
We've know each other for a while
Still can't tell what she meant
My family ain't believe me till the money came in
Especially my dad
I'm sorry that I put you through the stress of almost being a mess up
Pretending to be something I'm not and playing dress up
I apologize
If I do end up moving I'd say I'm sorry to everyone
I just wanted to be cool
I'm sorry that I thought it was trendy to break all the rules
And do whatever I wanted
Hope this life gives me the chance to be new
