I am reminded of the way we revolve around each other
Like twin stars twirling through space

2001 a space odyssey isn't enough for me

Together we sing like Red thread through our fingers
And I just want to hold your hand, count the years and watch time go by
The only indication, a movement of my hand, the changing of a meter

I hope our love is eternal I hope we live forever
But we are fast fading and there's nothing we can do to stop that
We'll sing until the earth takes our bones and we're covered in dirt

In our paths of orbit destabilization is tangible, is felt, is looming
Risk is always calculated but it can never be eliminated

There will always be a chance for error

I watch us drift
Our gravities are tied to each other
Pressing against each other
Violently rejecting
Always in turmoil

At the end of my life I'll look back at it all
And play it back Like a record I'll watch us spin
