I know it sounds simple, but it's my way
At the end of the day
You'll find me out in my place of escape
Plucking my ukulele, strumming a tune
Writing songs for the moon
I get asked what my dreams are
What I plan to do
I look up at the stars
Knowing I'm about to sound like a fool

I do enjoy singing into the air
Letting the notes be carried off with the wind
And to land, oh gosh, who knows where
Perhaps among the night sky somewhere
Since I do write songs for the moon
It's silly, maybe
