3 o'clock and I'm wrestlin' what's in front of me
Two kids on the street and they begging for money to eat
Mommy and Daddy barely got anywhere to sleep
Yet they flashing a smile to everyone they see
How did they get to this place of such depravity?
I can't believe what I'm seeing it's such a travesty
When will their lives look like the only one I've ever known
And not this day-to-day fight to be more than skin and bone
God, why, is there so much pain in this life
How am I supposed to feel right
I'm calling out to you for answers
I want to, take away all the issues
Not by myself, I need you
I'm calling out, to you for answers
It's later on and I see another depressing scene
Two people fighting and hurting, it's so hard to believe
Racist faces and different races stand between
So much anger and hatred, it makes me wanna scream
Why do we let our prejudices and our fear
Of things that we don't understand re-appear
We were called as creation to spread love
But all we do is turn from above
God, why, is there so much pain in this life
How am I supposed to feel right
I'm calling out to you for answers
I want to, take away all the issues
Not by myself, I need you
I'm calling out, to you for answers
Calling out to you
You feel the pain, You hear the fight
You see the tears, You are the light
You are there when we are defenseless, like a flood your love is relentless
We're calling out to you for protection, and asking you to answer our questions
The whole world cries out for redemption, cuz all this suffering feels senseless
God, why, is there so much pain in this life
How am I supposed to feel right
I'm calling out to you for answers
I want to, take away all the issues
Not by myself, I need you
I'm calling out, to you for answers
God, why, is there so much pain in this life
How am I supposed to feel right
I'm calling out to you for answers
I want to, take away all the issues
Not by myself, I need you
I'm calling out, to you for answers
We're calling out to you
We're calling out to you
