Immortal CORE - Introduction Lyrics

Immortal CORE - Introduction Lyrics

Brothers and sisters!

What's flowin'? Where the vibe at? I hope y'all stayin' blessed, family!
Ish ya boy, Immortal! Comin' at you as, a mortal. Y'already know what it i'!
It's 'Lyrics, the Mixtape!'
Let's get this thang started!

Ey! Listen! Ey!
My stance is clear - no glass slippers needed

Ey yo, shout-out to Cinderella real quick, feel me?
And shout out to all 'em cartoon characters too; they be holdin' it down for real
Aight, stay colourful. Stay blessed... Cool, cool, cool. Aight, aight
Listen, ey! Listen! I said

My stance is clear - no glass slippers needed
Words carry power? Well, my diction is heated
"I dare you to speak" - Oh I'm 'a tell it like it is
Lyrics don't matter anymore - jizz

See it's the same few topics that are stuck on repeat
Repackaged, re-served in a fresh new beat
"Make money, f*ck bitches, slang dope on the streets
They call me Young Ass, 'cuz you are what you eat, gnaaah!"

Man, I'm tired of all this mindlessness
Ignorance is not bliss, it's what got us into this
Abysmal, senseless, tactless lyrical trend
And with a little bit of luck, it'll soon meet its end

I look forward to that day, when people care about the vibe
And understand that our speech carries what's inside
We can't hide, if we keep saying some negative shit
Then we're only demonstrating that we happen to be full of it

That's why I wanna hear more songs full of heart
Is that not the true essence of what we call art?
See if more artists shared their inner-peace -joy and -love
Then that'd be more proof we're living all of the above

Let's raise our vibes! Rejoice! We're alive!
Let this notion of separation go-by-the-wayside
We're a family, internationally, together we can thrive
Without most of the populace struggling to survive

I want to heal the world's pain, as best as I can
But it's not up to me, it's in all of our hands
So, what's the plan? Where do you stand in all of this mess?
If I said let's stand together, would you say yes?

See, in serving humanity, charity begins at home
First take care of you, to manage caring for your own
Once that has grown, from just a few, to the throne
Then it is truly known, that you are never alone

Now, I've got some tools I use that make my heart sing
Yoga, Laughter, Music and being Entertaining
But it's the essence behind 'em that's my real offering
That brings peace, love and joy back into living

That's why I made this mixtape, to share my light
The same light that shines bright whether I act, rap, or write
The same light within you, whether you're black, brown or white
The same light of the cosmos, the one and only light

So, here's to people like me, thirsty for more
Who can't ignore their heart's longing, ready to explore
Who we are, what we're doing, and what we're here for
Vibin' out to the same flow in each Immortal CORE

In me and you. In you and me
Is the same ever-unifying inner-harmony
Free from any borders, and any made-up boundaries
In every country, it's just a 'me', listenin' to poetry

Now that's unity!

Peace!
