Sunflowers line the road of all that's ever been
They brighten up the dark of what's no longer then
They often grow too quickly and meet a timely death
No one even knows that they were there
So they'll become a shadow of themselves
What once was full of color, has surely been through hell
We'll pick them up by pieces, put them in a book, and call 'em art
But oh, don't let it go
Hold on to hope
'Cause flowers will grow
And oh, oh they will wilt
But don't let it kill
The flowers will grow
And when they grow, they'll be there standing
Standing in the grass
Roots as strong as iron
These sunflowers grow to last
When they grow, I hope they're happy
Color filled their eyes
The world's a better place
These flowers never die
But oh, don't let it go
Hold on to hope
'Cause flowers will grow
And oh, oh they will wilt
But don't let it kill
The flowers will grow
