Counting tiny pockets of light
No better spot to lay down at night
Winding blanket of green and a spotlight barely seen
Call it just a phase
It refuses to ask the obvious
Yet like clockwork it never denies us
No matter if its full or new, experience white fades to blue
Unsupervised
The pot is calling the kettle black
Made up its mind and is ready to crack
Day breaks hands with the evening overcome by the dark
At least we are aware of its return as the Sun spots the sky
Dawn bursts through expectations contrast in stark
Look towards my constellation for a surprise but its only a shooting star
Conspiring to solve the great mystery
Oppose the unbelievable possibility
The dark side is where the myth doth lies
My horoscope fails to recognize
Navigation is left up to the sky
Without a paddle in a sea of compromise
Such a time to be alive
