JYanto - When will my Train come? Lyrics

JYanto - When will my Train come? Lyrics

One day, they say, it'll be okay
Okay, I see, but I'm still uncertain and unsure, you see
You forgot? You're not the only one that's through
This path, called life, storytime, my book like Dr. Seuss

It's hard to see how's things are gonna be
And the feeling of hardship shoulders over me, man
My steam's almost out, my esteem's gone south
My dream's falling out, and I got a lot of doubt, but

Heavy freight, I'm afraid
Pressure of your future approaching and it's heavy weight
Will I make it, and there's what if's
And those what if's, make you lost with these questions

Why, how, what does it mean to follow a dream?
Will it ever be seen, or turn to those movie scenes?
Honestly, I just want a better tomorrow
Where tough days don't linger from sorrow from what the world throws

I guess it's something that we all tragically deal with
Money or not, really, there's not much between us
You and I broken inside, need a healer
Would anyone like to listen up and be a hearer?

Maybe this is my railway for a better day
With this trouble and rain, maybe some of it will go away
Even if I make it, it'll come back another day
Even if my train passes, I'll still say

You'll never know if you don't take that track or road
And I know, there's always gonna be highs and lows
So why not take it, I might not make it
But here's my testament, so watch me walk through it
Whistle blown, time to go, it's The Heart of a Kid

Bigger picture is abstract, for some an artifact
Fact is, some people should practice, many forget this
So get this, why are we so obsessed with the people nearby
Their life ain't better than yours, look again before you make up your mind

Sigh, sigh, we forget where we are
Forget the small steps that it took us to get this far
Dreaming 'bout big money, fake love, and fast cars
Will any of that really fill your empty heart?

I'm just an ordinary kid, with an ordinary dream
To be able to speak words, make beats, feats, not me
In a world where all I hear is a specific type of sound
I'm wondering if people can hear my voice in these drums

All aboard, watch your step, welcome to life's express
Pulse beating like the pistons out of my chest
I guess what I could really do is try my best
Yet as long as He's with me, I'll find my true rest
