Kevin Luthy - My Crazy Dreams Lyrics

Kevin Luthy - My Crazy Dreams Lyrics

Once I dreamed I was a cat
I followed after a lovely mouse
We came to a tree where an eagle sat
And followed him up to his house

Inside were treasures but not of gold
Chests of memories from days of old
Somewhere inside I found my muse
When I woke I had no shoes

So back into a dream I slipped
I found my shoes untied
I tripped
I fell into a pool of lies
Where I met a snake but in disguise

So there I fell in love with fate
Another mouse whose dreams I ate
Together we journeyed a ways upstream
Where once again I woke from the dream

Rolled out of bed and tied my shoes
I had a smoke and drank some booze
The mouse was gone
She slithered away
So there I pondered 'till the end of the day

As many a dreamless night went by
I finally slipped away into the sky
As I paddled my boat up to the sea
I felt two eyes focused on me

Bent out of shape and impatient as well
I made myself wake
Sent the snake back to hell
But the train of my thought wouldn't let the dream go
So I found myself lost in a boat I can't row

Once I dreamed I was an ant in a web ensnared
But the spider wouldn't bite
No movement she dared
After days of contemplation and conversation with a louse
I realized the spider was the snake was the mouse

An interesting dream and confusing as can be
My train of thought returned me to the eagle in the tree
Then suddenly I remembered there was a different mouse
Quickly I awoke in a real bed in a real house
