A celestial race , we're falling through space
Chasing the tail of a star, we learned to survive on what nature provides
Our intellect got us this far
Now it's greed that condemns us
Civilisation: the great divider
Between our evolution and subjugation
It's the hierarchy that puts us in our place
Leaving most of us here at the bottom
It's the thin blue line between freedom and function
It's the system that keep the masses desperate
As this rock speeds through the universe is it a
Blessing or a curse that our species survived to exist
Under the rule of iron fist?
The fact we live in luxury means millions face poverty
Live by the pen, die by the sword
Given the choice we'd cut the cord
I'd fly away through outer space
Say goodbye to the human race
