When I think about consistency and greatness I think of the Sun
Every single day of my life there has been a sunrise
The Sun has never taken a day off
No PTOs. No call offs
No sick days
No, I just don't feel like it today
We know with out the Sun's performance all life on this planet stops
What's the purpose of the Sun
FOr us, its the tool used to sustain life
The power of the sun causes the earth to rotate on it own axis for the 24 hour day
And around the Sun for the 365 day calendar year
Causing seasons to change
Allowing us to plan infinite amounts of things based on the consistent effort of the sun
Imagine if the sun stopped moving and pushing our little blue planet around for a day
A week?
What are the ramifications?
Now take what you want to do
Maybe graduate from high school and college
Maybe be a masters or doctorate degree
Maybe you want to start a business
Maybe you to move up the ranks in the military or on your job
Now equate the importance of getting that your task with the job of the sun
Same level of ramifications as if the Sun don't show up today
There's no excuses
You didn't show up
You didn't perform
Life depends on your consistency
Without a consistent effort things will fall apart
You've made up your mind
Now move with purpose
Get a sense of urgency
Now be urgently consistent as the Sun
