Lucinda Williams is an American rock, folk, blues, and country music singer and songwriter.
She was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the daughter of poet and literature professor Miller Williams
and an amateur pianist.
She has a string of albums that have been critically acclaimed
and was named "America's best songwriter" by TIME magazine in 2002.
