Lucius Echo - Dawn of the Fallen Lyrics

Lucius Echo - Dawn of the Fallen Lyrics

Do more, say less
Think through, no guess
Speak at, talk to
Too hot, all cool
Relax, reject
Remem-, repress
Object projects
Project objects
Ignore tensions
Watch for wrenches
Plot holes and you twist but y'all both-
Screw it
Know truth and realize
With soul youth in veil eyes
Ship sailed got baptized
By tall tales all capsized
My end has yet been written, if you'll listen I'll begin this tale unveiled as I sink in and out of doubt if there's a bottom down
There was a time before the now, I met this man, his scent was foul
I met his gaze behind a scowl, then laughter made at sight I smiled
I asked his name, he told me call him DJ just for now and in a while we'll meet again, but until then remember well
A life I'd yet to live of futile fights in listlessness, without acceptance, a presence rejected finding fit with nil
My mind had yet to fall apart, to ends I'd met recall the start of every crack I tried to fill with all the meals I missed to starve
Scratches on the whole within to match the mold of molted skin, the feeling of it peeling away is what made the growing hard

I thought I'd have fallen into the depths of hell

I had fought my calling as all of the seven had set to swell

A decade yet had passed, when I died and then met the man again
Said to call him 'Davey' and cried that I was a friend to him
Essentially family, The Jones, unbound of skin and bone
Children of calamity, finding housing but never home
Grabbed my shoulder, leaned in, whispered "see boy listen closely, I bee the keeper less the reaper of a lonesome soul see, everything that you have known until this point has mattered not for chaff against the wind will not find rest until the gale has stopped

My life has ended but the journey only just begun
