Markus Zemke - Full Moon at Midnight (Radio Edit) Lyrics
Official

In the full moon at midnight's gleam
A fairy ventured to the human's dream
She entered a tavern and met a man
With him a romance began
They laughed and danced, loved with delight
But as dawn broke her heart felt tight
For only at full moon could she see
The rest of the time with fairy she'd be
In the full moon's light at midnight's spell
All creatures wake from their sleep so well
The world then takes on a different view
Where everyone feels at home anew
As she left a seed grew in her
But fairies differ from women, sure
At the next full moon his heart did break
For he knew this love was a mistake
With sorrow she went to the forest's embrace
Gave birth to a child with a tender face
She followed the custom as it was told
Sang a lullaby, her love to unfold
The human world is cold and hard
The fairy world is tender and smart
Mixing the two brings heartache and strain
So never do it, it ends in pain
She couldn't bear the weight of her choice
So she sought solace in the forest's voice
Her tears fell like stars from afar
But she found peace under the moon's bright star
In the full moon's light at midnight's spell
All creatures wake from their sleep so well
The world then takes on a different view
Where everyone feels at home anew
