Markus Zemke - The great multitude of all nations before the throne Lyrics

Markus Zemke - The great multitude of all nations before the throne Lyrics
Official

I looked and saw a multitude
From every nation, tribe, and tongue
Standing before the throne
And the Lamb of God, His praises sung
Clothed in robes of white so pure,
With palm branches in their hands,
They cried out with voices loud,
"Salvation belongs to God and the Lamb!"
Salvation to our God who sits upon the throne
And to the Lamb forever we'll adore
Praise and glory, wisdom and thanks
Honor and power, strength forevermore
All the angels gathered 'round
The elders and creatures they did bow
Falling on their faces low
Worshipping God with a holy vow
"Amen! Praise and glory be,
Wisdom, thanks, and honor too,
Power and strength to our God,
Forever and ever, Amen, it's true!"
Salvation to our God who sits upon the throne
And to the Lamb forever we'll adore
Praise and glory, wisdom and thanks
Honor and power, strength forevermore
"Amen! Praise and glory be,
Wisdom, thanks, and honor too,
Power and strength to our God,
Forever and ever, Amen, it's true!"
Salvation to our God who sits upon the throne
And to the Lamb forever we'll adore
Praise and glory, wisdom and thanks
Honor and power, strength forevermore
"Who are these in robes so white,
From where have they come?" the elder asked,
"These are they from tribulation's fight,
Their robes made pure by the Lamb's own task."
Therefore they stand before God's throne,
Serving Him both day and night,
He who sits will spread His tent,
Sheltering them with His light.
They shall hunger and thirst no more,
The sun won't strike them, nor any heat,
For the Lamb will shepherd them,
To living waters, where peace they'll meet.
And God shall wipe away each tear,
From every eye, no more to cry,
In His presence, forever near,
In the Lamb's embrace we'll never die
