mattafact. - Speak My Peace Lyrics
Official

Give me a second to speak on it
I'ma speak my piece
It burns my heart that after all these years
The industry ears are still calcified
Chronic inflammation from inside of the body
The godly, they act a godless playing a fool in these aisles
This is stuff we don't see with the gentiles
The pen is their pen pal the streets is their text
No testimony of how the word transforms and gives them a new normal life
They'd rather talk about ratchet and righteous, holy and hood
These oxymorons would have you speaking like morons
And for these Christian artists wasting bars on a beef
This family biz don't air your grief in the street
The world is praying our downfall That's if they praying at all
Don't give them satisfaction give 'em to God know you already won
And don't forget to do what you heard the Lord tell you to
Refuse to hear only without a single drop of dew (do)
So do something proper and don't settle for mixture
Cause 90% of holy won't save you
Let it minister
I said what I said
Ion know what else I can say to y'all
Matter fact give me one more
How could you represent the holy and glorious yet mention the profane
Leaving indie Christian artists to measure by secular names
We were so duped and deceived while tryna define the goat
That we forgot about the blood of the lamb
Wait, wait, wait, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Did I get your attention or am I too late
The truth is no longer trending
But in your defense you prefer positive
Not Christian music cause God is so judgy
Now you worship love in an extra-biblical sense
But love confronts it doesn't tolerate sin that's John 8-11
And check your features you should mind who you're yoking to
Don't switch commitments just to grow who you're talking to
Enjoy awards and festivals like other artists do
Don't forget the work that we do on tha mic is missional
We may entertain angels but to crowds we minister
We don't perform we're musical reverends
No applause needed
