The more I see of life
The less I understand it
The more I start to roam
I realize I don't know
Much of
Anything
Anywhere
Oh my heart's gone off the edge
Chasing thunder running
Out from cover
Waiting for the clouds outside to roll away
Saying this must be the place
Like a naïve melody
So Ill, close my eyes and sing myself to sleep
So just tell me where I'm supposed to be
There's way too much of this world to see
From the Wastelands and high alps
To all in between
All I wants just a place to be free
Oh I admit that I ain't that tough
I exist as I am and that's enough
Take a trip round the outside of the sun
Every year I age more than one
And I said and I said and I said it ain't pretty but hey we're making it work
And I said and I said it's under discussion and asked you with a smirk
Are my legs too long
Is my hair uneven
But still I'm standing tall
I hope that I find something
Before I lose it all
So just tell me where I'm supposed to be
There's way too much of this world to see
From the Wastelands and high Alps
To all in between
All I wants just a place to be free
