Sitting on a train heading home after a show

He had no way of knowing what it was that he could see
So I walked right off the train started looking for a cab
Still got a few old miles to go my legs would never last
Jumped into that taxi and the driver said hello
Told him where i was heading, but he didn't want to know
He kept on asking questions, about what's in the case

So i opened up the case to let him have an eye
He had to brake real hard he nearly let my house go by
All he saw was a 3d jigsaw of something that used to be
He had no way of knowing what it was that he could see
What was sitting in the case was all that I possessed
Don't mean much to anyone as far as I could guess
It just looked like a bunch of clothes worth nothing anyways
But underneath was my old guitar that had seen much better days
It sure looked like a 3d jigsaw all wires and wood in bits
To me it was old faithful - I could never part with it
