I was talking to a man that I thought was a snitch
But what I asked him he swore he didn't know
Still I got my shovel and I dug a ditch
Made sure the lights were down low
Then I shot him once in the back
Shot him another time in the head
Wanted to clean myself off
Go on home and get to bed
Though I never found out if the snitch was him
I went and shot him again
The judge stared long and hard
He looked right into my eyes
Tried to treat me like a fool
Like I was a man who told lies
So I told him all about that night
How I couldn't have a man like that around
And he asked me why there were three bullet holes
In his body when he was found
Cause either way I was gonna have to pay for my sins
That's why I shot him again
Now I'm sitting here doing life
I've got no chance of parole
Can't even see my kids or my wife
I'm just lying here getting old
But every now and then I think of the good old days
Man I had so much fun
Living life under my own law
Shooting people with my gun
After I shot him the second time I started to grin
And then I shot him again
