I was born in North Dakota
Home of the Badlands and frigid plains
I moved to South Dakota
Mount Rushmore, the Corn Palace
Where my brother still remains
They say that you're a product of the places you grew up
And I can't deny
I guess that makes me some kinda midwest something
A fact that I can't hide
My parents moved to Wisconsin
Great beer, House on the Rock, delicious cheese
I haven't lived there
But it's love to visit whenever I please
I moved to Indiana
Lots of friendly Hoosiers and the Speedway
I love Indiana
So at least for now this is where I'll stay
They say your hometown has a hand in shaping you
So I guess that I
Have been molded into some kinda midwest something
Which I'll be until I die
