A pale glow flooded in through the window sill
The dark night beckons branches to their wicked dance
Like twisted finger tips, scratching through serenity
Tapping their unsettling rhythm into a cloudy glass
Bats and ravens cut their silhouettes in shadows cast
Up over the wall like portraits of abomination
The beating wings sing in harmony to dragging steps
Something's coming over the hills, emerging through the mist
When you're all alone in the cold, dark night
And the moon is right, above the witches den
There's a flash of light and a ghoulish glow
And before you know it, you're one of them
There's something strange, your veins are steady changing
An ice-cool feeling washing over your cluttered mind
It's moving all through your soul and your body
Mixing chemicals inside of you and altering space and time
The bright lights are spilling and flooding and
Covering up all the pieces of your shattered reality and
Now your shape is shifting and turning and contorting and
Pouring into the frame of something far from humanoid
When you're all alone in the cold, dark night
And the moon is right, above the witches den
There's a flash of light and a ghoulish glow
And before you know it, you're one of them
Samhain. The victim of a ritual, symptoms of sorcery fallen into the wrong hands
Samhain. A shifting of your physical, sickness of wickedness twisted into a dark plan
When you're all alone in the cold, dark night
And the moon is right, above the witches den
There's a flash of light and a ghoulish glow
And before you know it, you're one of them
